Social Enterprise Networking – with guest speaker from WECIL (in-person)
Join us for an interactive, in-person networking session: a chance to meet other social enterprises, and hear about WECIL’s story of growth and scale.
What is this session about?
We welcome you to this interactive Social Economy West networking event - a chance to meet other social enterprises on their journey to growth and scale. Join us for an opportunity to share ideas, stories and solutions, ask for and offer help, and support and collaborate.
During the session, we will hear from Alex Johnston, Head of Commercial and Social Enterprise at WECIL.
WECIL is an award winning, user led organisation supporting Disabled people to live the life they choose. Alex will share more about WECIL’s journey to scale and explore challenges and opportunities in diversifying income streams. In particular, we will hear about how WECIL generate unrestricted income for the organisation through their Payroll business. WECIL have also recently launched Disability Inc, a business support brand, offering a range of services (training, consultancy and accessibility support) to help organisations be as accessible and inclusive as possible.
We hope everyone will come away with new connections, as well as practical tips and inspiration for your own social enterprise journeys.
We look forward to seeing you there
